Speech Pathologist
Responsibilities: Augmentative Communication Specialist needed to travel to schools and homes to provide on-site assessments, and provide technical assistance to help AAC users to achieve functional communication in natural environments. Candidate will provide workshops on such topics as implementing AAC use in the classroom, and communication options from low-tech to high-tech. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide services at our Ewing office, and on-site, at homes and schools in the northern half of the state. We offer on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.

Position: Full-time (Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey will consider splitting the position among candidates with part-time availability.)

Coordinator of Prevention Programs
Responsibilities: Responsible for implementing daily operations of statewide prevention programs that will provide training and technical assistance about substance abuse and co-existing disabilities to groups that work with persons with disabilities, prevention programs and treatment programs.

Requirements: Flexible position. Must be willing to travel to off-site locations. Bachelor degree in reated field, such as education, public health, social work or psychology or experience providing substance abuse services and/or working with persons with disabilities. Prefer candidate with knowledge of issues and resources related to alcohol and druga abuse. Good public speaking skills are necessary. Training will be provided.

Family Support Personnel (Barrington Office)
Responsibilities: Oversee recreational activities for children with disabilities and their siblings. Events take place every other weekend (Friday evening and Saturday afternoon). The events take place throughout Camden and Burlington Counties. Reliable transportation is a must. Calendar of events can be seen on our website.

Sign Language Interpreter needed to work with children in our Parent's Night Out Program.

Transition Specialist (Full Time)

Responsibilities: Assist students in transitioning from school to work successfully and present department to schools, employers and business community. Provide necessary training of student for a paid or volunteer position; monitor progress of student in work or volunteer setting; act as an advocate and complete reports and documentation in a timely manner. This is a mobile position and a flexible schedule is a must. Reports to Director of Community Education Services in Ewing. Positions available in Central and Northern Counties. Applicant must pass criminal background check and drug testing.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in human service related field. Experience and/or the desire to work with individuals with disabilities preferred.
