Family Support

Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey recognizes that disabilities affect families, not just individuals. We offer services for families to help releive stress and provide information.
Parents Night Out logo

Serving Burlington, Camden, Warren, Sussex and Morris Counties

Parents of children with disabilities often say that one of their biggest sources of stress is that they don’t have enough quality time for themselves. Parents' Night Out is a creative approach to the traditional drop-off respite program. On Friday nights, parents can drop off their children both with and without disabilities. While there, children will interact socially while participating in coordinated activities. To enroll, call your DDD case manager and ask for a referal.Check out the calendar!

Serving Warren, Sussex, Morris, Passaic and Hunterdon Counties

Our trained staff will come to your home and care for your family member, while you step out to your favorite restaurant, go shopping or enjoy a dinner with your partner. There are no age restrictions. The person with the disability just needs to be living in your home and registered with the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). To enroll, call your DDD case manager and ask them for a referal for In Home Respite through CP of New Jersey. Please note that waitlists apply. If you have any questions and live in Warren, Sussex or Morris counties, please call 908-979-1039. If you have questions and live in Passic or Hudson counties, please contact 973-237-0983.
