Professional Development Workshops

Ergo-KID-nomics

We are requiring our students to do more and more work on the computer – the problem is that they are working on equipment designed for adults! This session will discuss proper ergonomics and the best ways to modify the technology to fit students.

Participants are encouraged to bring digital pictures of their own classroom computer stations. We will evaluate the ergonomics of these computer stations, as well as others, and develop real world solutions to best meet the needs of students. Participants will be provided with a resource list of more age (size) appropriate computer technology and ergonomic checklists to take back to their classrooms.

Half Day Session: $69
